Advertising Terms and Conditions

PRINT BOOKING CONDITIONS

(1) Payment 30 days net.

(2) Contract to be completed within 12 months or surcharge to applicable rates.

(3) No cancellation after 7th of month prior to publication.

(4) Publisher may run previous copy if due date not met.

(5) Publisher not liable for advertisement or part thereof failing to appear.

(6) Advertiser warrants copy does not infringe State/ Federal law or rights of another.

(7) Material held at advertisers risk.

PRINT MEDIA REQUIREMENTS

Supply: On CD, emails also accepted (up to 8Mb only). FTP services are available for larger files.

Preferred File Formats: Adobe PRESS-QUALITY Portable Document Format (PDF) olease prepare all PDFs as specified by the 3DAP Guideline (visit www.3dap.com.au for detailed instructions). Other File Formats accepted: QuarkXpress, InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator. Please make sure all fonts and images are included and that all images are in CMYK mode. Illustrator files must have all fonts converted to outlines/paths. Unfortunately we do not accept ads in Word, PowerPoint, Publisher or any Microsoft software.

Colours: Please ensure that all Spot and Pantone colours are converted to CMYK before creating press-quality PDFs or before finalising raw files.

Images: Minimum of 300dpi at 100% scaling in CMYK. Vector (line art) images minimum of 1200 dpi at 100% scaling also in CMYK. Image file formats should be TIFF or composite EPS and should not be compressed. ICC profiles are NOT accepted and are not to be embedded with any images. Please ensure profiles are UNCHECKED when saving image files. No responsibility will be held for image quality will be accepted if images are supplied with resolutions differing from those specified.

Fonts: We accept both Postscript and TrueType fonts. Include printer and screen fonts. PDF files should have all fonts embedded. Fonts should not be stylised.

Bleed: If bleed is required, please ensure 5mm bleed is applied all round and that required text (actual image area) appears no closer than 10mm to page edge all round (see Advertisement Sizes). Ensure crop marks are placed with an offset of 5mm preferable.

Proofs: A colour proof should be supplied with all ads. We will not accept responsibility for the printed result if a proof is not supplied.

ONLINE MEDIA REQUIREMENTS

General Requirements:

www.BulkHandling.com.au reserves the right to refrain from running any banner that is detrimental to user experience. A banner can be deemed "detrimental" for either technical and/or content reasons.

No misleading advertisements that mimic operating system errors or dialogue boxes.

Campaigns are limited to one creative change per week.

Text messages underneath Featured Products will be subject to space limitations determined by www.BulkHandling.com.au.

www.BulkHandling.com.au will not alter creative in any way. Files that do not meet specs will need to be re-submitted by client.

Cancellations can only be accepted in writing when received six weeks prior to initial publishing date.

All prices quoted are on a weekly basis and are subject to change.


Banner Requirements

All hyperlink/html code must be sent in a Text (.txt) attachment, not in the body of an email.

www.BulkHandling.com.au requires an alternate GIF image be provided should the artwork conflict screen for non plug-in enabled users.

Artwork must be tested in ALL major browsers and versions prior to sending to www.BulkHandling.com.au. Artwork that does not function in all browsers will be returned to client.

Client, agency or creative shop is expected to resolve all issues related to Rich-Media creative. www.BulkHandling.com.au will not be responsible for modifying or correcting any coding problems related to Rich-Media creative.


Creative and Linking URL Technical Specs and Deadlines

Formats currently accepted: GIF, Animated GIF, JPEG & HTML.

Frames and Looping: Maximum frames 6, looping 2 times.

Include with instructions: Referring URL and alt text.

GIFs and Animated GIFs required 2 business days prior to campaign start date.

Artwork restricted to 80kb unless otherwise approved.
