Superior Industries, a manufacturer of conveyor systems and components, has introduced a new conveyor mobility option - Radial Travel Tracks - two 24-inch steel tracks on each side of the conveyor.

The Radial Travel Tracks attach directly to the FD axle radial fold-down arms, and are easy to remove for road portability. The system is designed to reuse existing planetary drives and is equipped with hydraulic hoses and fitting connections.
When applied with the TeleStacker® conveyor, the new option allows high-capacity radial stockpiling in applications, such as low pressure soils, sand or wet clay, where maximum flotation and traction is required. The Radial Travel Tracks is a highly suitable and cost-effective mobility option for gold and copper heap leach operations in particular.
When combined with the new track-mounted Mobile Pivot Base conveyor mobility option, producers realise the ultimate in mobility with the combination of free-ranging onsite and transfer point mobility, as well as radial travel capability – all while reducing the need for haul trucks and loaders, and additional labour and material handling.
Engineered for easy, simple bolt-on installation, the Radial Travel Tracks option can be retrofitted onto existing conveyors in the equipment fleet; and can provide the versatility for site-to-site operation no matter what the soil conditions. As such Radial Travel Tracks are also an ideal addition to the dealer rental fleet.
Superior Industries also offers non-powered travel tracks for use on short stackers, jump or grasshopper conveyors. The tracks can be bolted on right over the standard tire hub when flotation and traction is needed.
Headquartered in Morris, Minnesota, Superior Industries designs and fabricates a full line of portable and stationary conveying equipment including telescoping conveyors, truck unloading systems, feed systems, and design-build conveyor systems; and a complete line of idlers, pulleys and other conveyor components.
