NBE acquires General Processing Systems
National Bulk Equipment’s acquisition of General Processing Systems adds three product lines from GPS’ ProductSaver range to NBE’s bulk materials handling systems.

ProductSaver systems are designed to remove the packaging from powders, flakes, granular products, solids, and liquids. It is used to recover product from off-spec packaging, or when product needs to be removed from the packaging generally.
Under the Product saver brand, GPS also manufactures automated bag openers, conveying equipment and rotary sifting drums.
NBE’s president, Todd Reed, said “The ProductSaver lines provide two primary advantages for processing and packaging operations.
[The] systems reduce process material loss levels, beyond what even inline systems can do.”
