After 32 years, Howard Mortimer has decamped from Voith’s Australian business to the company’s Singapore arm.

Florian Stehboeck.

Filling the veteran Mortimer’s role of national industrial product group manager is Florian Stehboeck.

The youthful Stehboeck was previously at Voith in Germany. He has seven years’ experience in Voith products, product management and area management.

Stehboeck, who started in his new position in February 2012, received a diploma in mechanical engineering from the school for appliance science at Kempten in 2005.

Voith was effusive in its praise of the departed Mortimer.

“The board…would like to… again thank Howard Mortimer for his enormous contribution during his tenure. He leaves Voith Turbo Pty Ltd in a great position from which it can continue to build under Mr Stehboeck.”
