National Weighing & Instruments says it has received interim trade approval for a new SPT-28 portable weighbridge.

The patented design offers lengths from six metres to 36 metres and loads from 20 to 100 tonnes, with a width of three meters.

“The unique design, which offers a fold up deck, makes the SPT-28 easily portable in sections,” explained Phillip Moraitis, manager, National Weighing & Instruments.

“The self-containing frame removes the need for expensive civil works; a requirement for a level compact surface for the length of the bridge is all that is required.

“The digital load cells are protected in position during transport and easily unlock for use.

“The CPD digital load cells offer simple service with built in diagnostics of operation, storing weighing parameters for simple replacement should the need arise.

“The D410 indicator offers weigh in and weigh out memory functions by truck plate, customer and product. Options for solar power are available.

“The SPT-28 has its own entry/exit ramps for a complete weighing solution in many bulk handling applications.”
