AusGroup to refurbish CBH shiploaders

AGC Industries has secured an $11m contract to refurbish shiploaders 3 and 4 at CBH’s grain jetty. The facility is located at Kwinana Bulk Terminal, which is operated by Fremantle Ports.

AGC is the Australian-based subsidiary of AusGroup. The company also has offices and fabrication facilities across Western Australia and in Queensland, Singapore and Thailand.

AGC’s Kwinana scope of work will include installation of scaffolding, encapsulation, surface treatment and mechanical and structural repairs. It is due to commence in May, 2012.

AGC has a facility conveniently located in Kwinana, with six fabrication bay areas totalling 14,052m² and over 70,000m² of uncovered area available for use as laydown storage and assembly.

AusGroup said the latest contract extends its relationship with CBH, which began in 2009. The company’s order book currently stands at $443m.
