Brolton engineers addition to Colgate plant
In 2010, Brolton Group constructed a significant addition to Colgate-Palmolive’s Labrador Soap powders facility. The addition comprises a powder blending and IBC filling and discharge plant.
The plant produces highly consistent, industry leading, premixed soap powder products. As raw materials, it uses various bulk powder form materials and multiple liquid and powder hand additives as minor additives.
The addition to the plant has been designed to accommodate an additional two stages of development. Brolton Group has commenced the second stage of this development which includes increased capacity for the balance of the plant.
The plant expansion was designed in partnership with Colgate engineers which allowed a seamless integration into existing works. Construction was completed on-time and on budget.
As ABHR went to press, commissioning was underway with Brolton
anticipating a faultless startup.
